Dump Truck Driver and Excavator Operator

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, excellent driving skills, and the ability to adhere to safety regulations while on the road.

Duties
• Operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and soil to various job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper weight distribution for safe transport.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Perform basic maintenance on the truck, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Assist in the operation of heavy equipment as needed, including forklifts.

Requirements
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation; experience with forklifts is a plus.
• Basic automotive repair skills are preferred to perform routine maintenance on the vehicle.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading materials.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
