Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Able Infrastructure Inc. was founded in 1974 and is a well-known leader in the Maritime Provinces construction industry. We are specialists in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional sector and have a Heavy Highway Structural Division that are both growing.

We are looking for a Class 3 Delivery Driver with experience.

Job duties and responsibilities:
• Operate and drive truck in a safe and efficient manner on assigned routes to fill contractual requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle.
• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisor using mobile communications to receive delivery instructions, advise of any requirements for maintenance or repairs, and report any driving infractions and/or suspensions.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Be aware of surroundings at all times, ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Protect and promote the interest of this company in all matters and to take actions as required to satisfy such responsibilities, ensure safety of fellow employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Qualifications and required skills:
• Valid Class 3 License with clear driver abstract.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task and to prioritize tasks.
