Shift: 40h/week – float schedule, flexibility needed

Pay-rate: $29.37 per hour ($37.90 after 12 months)

The Linehaul Driver drives to/from customer locations and safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt, trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) to pick up and deliver freight to/from customer locations and meet service level agreements. Job requires working in shifts.

Responsibilities

Drive to/from customer locations

Safely operates company vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, 5-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, etc.) and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.)

Pick up and deliver freight to/from warehouse or package depot and/or customer locations and meet service level agreements

Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch

Pick up, deliver, and load/unload freight at customer locations

Scans freight upon pickup and delivery

Conduct vehicle inspections (tractor – 20-minute pre-trip, 15-minute post-trip; trailer – 15-minute pre-trip per trailer)

Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driving record

3 years of Class 1 driving experience
