    Reports To : Logistics Manager, Logistics Supervisor
    Work Hours: Morning: Monday to Friday 6AM – 2PM or Afternoon: Tuesday to Friday 12PM-8PM
    Work Location: On-site, Saulter Street South
    Wage: $20.00/hour

    The Position
    As a member of the Logistics team, the Super Driver ensures that all deliveries depart on time and arrive at their destinations on schedule, while adhering to the highest possible health and safety standards. As the face of the company, you act as brand ambassadors to all clients, parents, the public and fellow drivers.

    Key Responsibilities
    Deliveries & Customer Service

    • Load vans according to delivery manifests, assisting fellow drivers as needed.
    • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
    • Complete deliveries accurately, following all service steps and special instructions.
    • Communicate any issues or route changes to the Logistics Lead.
    • Uphold RFRK’s Customer Service Standards in all interactions.

    Support & Logistics

    • Assist with dispatch by resolving issues or helping other drivers complete deliveries.
    • Perform additional deliveries or pick-ups as assigned.
    • Sort and organize delivery equipment, ensuring readiness for the next day
    • Other duties as required

    Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance

    • Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area daily.
    • Conduct daily vehicle inspections, checking lights, signals, and general condition.
    • Check fluid levels weekly and report any mechanical issues immediately.
    • Clean and store delivery bags, Cambro equipment, and other tools properly.

    Required Education & Experience

    • Minimum 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
    • Valid G-Class Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record
    • Completed Police Background Check (including vulnerable sector screening if required)
    • Physically capable of lifting 20-50 lbs and navigating stairs
    • Reliable cell phone with data and GPS/mapping app
    • Strong reliability, judgment, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, even when facing challenges

    Job Description:

    Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $17.20 to $20.64 with a maximum of $24.77.

    The Driver operates and maintains a light passenger van assigned by Salvation Army (TSA) to transport passengers, materials, merchandise, or equipment within a rural area including. When not preforming driving tasks, the Driver will preform grounds maintenance.

    Accountabilities

    Driving:

    • Drop-offs and pickups of residents ensuring their safe handling in a timely and secure manner.
    • Demonstrate a pleasant manner with the public
    • Pick up supplies or run any errands for the office, including carrying mail to and from the post office.

    Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:

    • Perform circle checks of vehicle, checking air, water, oil, and other items to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
    • Maintain program vehicle log and report any problems
    • Maintain complete and accurate records (mileage, fuel costs, issues encountered)
    • Responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment
    • Program vehicle must be clean with all personal items removed daily.
    • Cleaning and sanitizing of supplies and equipment used
    • Maintain knowledge of legislative and organization policies such as health and safety. regulations/policies, provincial and municipal highway traffic acts

    Groundskeeping duties:

    • Mowing lawns and trimming hedges using driving lawnmower/tractor

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Valid full Driver’s License for the province; an original copy of a current Driver’s Abstract that is satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion, is required

    Responsibilities

    Deliver 150 packages:
