Fuel Tanker Driver

Job Duties:

  • Transport gasoline/diesel to gas stations, airports, or mining sites (e.g., Shell, Suncor)
  • Operate B-train or double-hitch tankers (requires advanced endorsements)
  • Strict adherence to TC/DOT dangerous goods (TDG) regulations

Requirements:

  • Class 1 (AZ) license with Tanker + Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsements
  • Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) certification (for Alberta sites)
  • 2+ years experience with bulk liquid transfers

Avg. Earnings:

  • 35–35–55 CAD/hour (up to $70 CAD/hour in remote/northern postings)
  • Hazard pay bonuses (+100–100–300 per shift for fuel hauling)
