Job Duties:
- Haul gravel/asphalt for construction sites (e.g., Ledcor, Aecon).
- Operate tandem/tridem dump trucks (10–18 wheels).
- Coordinate with loaders via two-way radio.
Requirements:
- Class 3 (AZ in Ontario) license for heavy trucks.
- Construction Safety Training (CSTS in Alberta, WHMIS nationally).
- Experience with winter chains (for mountain/remote routes).
Avg. Earnings:
- 28–28–45 CAD/hour (higher in oil sands regions).
- Seasonal bonuses: +$5/hour for night shifts in winter.
