Driver/General Maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and people from one location to another. The Driver must have a valid G driver’s license and be able to follow directions. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. In between drives, you will be completing light cleaning duties, organizing/sorting, assisting technicians when needed (e.g., helping to bleed brakes), and overall general labor/maintenance around the shop and dealership where needed.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain a valid G driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be able to read and interpret maps and GPS systems.
• Be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to communicate effectively with customers.
• Be able to inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance issues.
• Cleaning/organizing of shop parts/equipment
• Maintenance of building and grounds
• Assisting the shop as needed

Skills & Experience:

• Able to work as a team and independently
• Must have attention to detail
• Strong ability to follow directions
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
• Able to multitask and prioritize
• Must be able to take initiative at starting new tasks once something is completed
• Previous shop experience is an asset

Hours: Monday – Friday 8-5pm
