Fresh City is an award-winning urban farm and omni-channel retailer. Founder-led, we’re on a mission to help people better the world through their food choices. More than one decade after we first began, our belief in that is even stronger. Every day, we deliver organic produce, chef-inspired and made from scratch prepared foods, bespoke meats and more to thousands of Greater Toronto Area families.

In 2022, subscription-based organic produce and grocery delivery company Mama Earth Organics was added to the Fresh City family, bringing farmers, makers and eaters together to deliver a food experience that respects our bodies, our planet, and our shared tomorrow.

Position: Driver (FT)

Schedule: TBD – Days may vary depending on operational needs.

What you will be doing:

• As a driver, you’re the face of our company to our customers. You’ll have the distinct pleasure of delivering baskets of curated organic produce to homes and apartments around the GTA. It’s a challenging job, but a great position for the right candidate. Read on to see if you might be a good fit.
• Follow the prescribed routes most convenient for delivery
• Deliver customer food orders to multiple the addresses throughout the GTA as assigned.
• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Weight capacity of food orders vary (approximately 10-40 pounds per bin).
• Inspect, operate and maintain the vehicle and its cleanliness

• Have previous delivery driver experience
• Self-directed: Able to work at a high standard with minimal supervision (and within time limits)
• Detail oriented

• Interest/knowledge in food is an asset

• Get along well with everyone

Certification/Licensing Requirements:

• Valid G License

Physical Requirements:

• Be physically fit and enjoy being active
• Able to lift 10 – 40 lbs bins (full of delicious organic produce)
