    We are currently looking for a Bus Driver and 2 Van Drivers for our Out of School Care program. We are looking for someone that has had prior experience driving a school or daycare bus, or a daycare van. Someone with their Level 1, 2, or 3 Alberta Child Care Certification already obtained would be an asset. A successful candidate would have good driving skills, experience driving children and a clean driver’s abstract. This person must be highly motivated, adaptable, and fluent in English, . A successful candidate would display professionalism and be responsible, as well as work well with children. This person must have a current criminal record check and first aid certification or be willing to obtain these items upon being hired.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Driving groups of children to and from school throughout the day,
    • Supervising during pick-ups and drop-offs,
    • Actively engaging with and supervising school age children during field trips and at the centre,
    • Following the Alberta Early Learning and Childcare regulations, as well as Active Start’s policies.
    • Actively supervising and engaging with children of all ages at the centre, while ensuring their well-being.

    Qualifications

    • A Class 4 driver’s license to drive the van
