Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:
Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring the safety of yourself, your co-driver, and other road users.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with a designated co-driver to optimize driving schedules, share responsibilities, and maintain continuous communication during transit.
Timely Deliveries: Ensure on-time delivery of goods by planning routes effectively, adhering to delivery schedules, and addressing any unexpected challenges proactively.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle’s roadworthiness.
Documentation: Complete accurate and timely logs, reports, and documentation related to shipments, mileage, and hours of service, in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and vendors, providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a positive manner.
Compliance: Stay informed about and adhere to all applicable DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures to maintain a high standard of compliance.
Valid Class Az Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 2 of experience as a professional driver.
Proven track record of safe driving and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
Minimum age 24 yrs
