Packing and Delivery Person

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

The candidate would be working alongside other members of the team to pack orders for the first part of the shift and proceed to deliver the products during the later part of the shift.

Daily Responsibilities include:

• Arriving on time (10-11pm start time)
• Assisting in packing orders for daily delivery
• Operating a vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all rules of the road
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Performing necessary runs depending on daily organization
• Delivering or picking up products accurately and in a timely manner
• Complying with all company policies and procedures regarding the picking up and delivery of goods
• Proper communication with the public, customers and team members
• Maintaining the vehicles for proper daily use (gas, inspections, fluids, cleanliness…)
• Additional duties can include and not limited to depending on daily needs: assist team members, organizing packaging, organizing orders and products, cleaning & sanitizing, …

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A valid Ontario Full G License
• A clean Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to provide a police check
• Previous delivery driving experience (at least 1 year preferred)
• Basic knowledge of the main streets of Toronto
• Available to adjust schedule around holidays
• Ability to lift at least 20kg/50lbs autonomously
• Ability to multitask
